Representatives of affiliate businesses related to the gaming industry and operators from the industry discussed current trends in the sector during the one-of-a-kind Affiliate Conference in Sofia. The conference took place on November 21 at the Black & White Club, Palms Royale Sofia, and its main partners were the Bulgarian online operators Palms Bet and Alpha Win, as well as the international company Clever Advertising.
The affiliate conference was opened by Rossi McKee, member of the Board of Directors of the Association of the Gaming Industry in Bulgaria, chairperson of the Advisory Board of the Eastern European Gaming Summit and co-founder and chairperson of the Board of the Responsible Gaming Foundation.
“I am happy to see so many people at this second edition of the Affiliate Conference”, Ms McKee said in her welcome address to the participants. “Affiliate marketing is becoming a fundamental part of our work, and in 2024, much of the growth in the industry will be related to affiliate marketing efforts. This means that you are in the right place, and have headed in the right direction”, she added.
Leading operators and affiliates from the industry took part in the conference. Panelists in the discussions included André Machado, Head of Publishers Relations & Affiliation at Sportradar, who talked about the importance of marketing automation and dynamic advertising messages; Georgi Kanev, Head of Interactive Entertainment & Gaming at Kinstellar, who explained how intellectual property affects the affiliate marketing business; and Aleksandra Andrišaka, Editor-in-Chief at Slotsjudge, with a lecture on ethics in the affiliate sector.
The conference ended with an evening party of the participants at the Black & White Club. The affiliate event is part of the preliminary program of the Eastern European Gaming Industry Conference (EEGs) which will take place on 22-23 November at Inter Expo Center Sofia.
