A Deserved success for the 3rd BEGE Expo and EEGS 2010

For the third year the program of the Eastern European Gaming Summit had presence of the top specialists from international consultant companies, national and international institutions including Bulgarian Institute of Metrology and Bulgarian State Commission on Gambling. The Summit was opened by Kaloyan Krastev, the Chairman of the Commission.

Traditionally on focus were the Eastern European countries, presented by the Gaming Associations of Serbia, Croatia, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Republic of Macedonia, Austria, Germany and Poland. Changes in the regulatory environment, outlining the challenges and opportunities, which the industry of every country has experienced in 2010 were reviewed and forecasts for the upcoming years were made.

The more broad overview was introduced by representatives of the consolidating Organizations as International Masters of the Gaming Law /IMGL/ and European Gaming and Amusement Federation /EUROMAT/. The latest developments on online gaming regulations in Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Poland, which might be bringing a lot of changes at those markets, were briefly overviewed on the newly set panel for online gaming operators including Betfair, Offsidegaming and Olympic Entertainment Group. EEGS also presented the exclusive Operators’ voice from the part of Grand Casino Beograd, Club Hotel Casino Loutraki and Hotel Casino International, who gave unique opportunity delivering to each attendee the best ways of how one Casino is forecasting the events happening besides.

Contribution to popular understanding of the gaming industry was discussed around the table bringing experience from the US and reputable national PR specialists. Each one of them took an active role to draw the frame on public awareness about the gaming sector and what should be strategic considerations talking about the business in the countries on the region.

Continuing the promotion of the social responsible behavior of the business Bulgarian Gaming Association (BTAMOGI) took further consistent steps, together with partnering experts therapeutists who introduced the results from the first stages of the Informational Responsible Gaming Campaign under the slogan ’Play Wisely’.

The 3rd edition of the EEGS Masterclass, successfully launched last year, presented two seminars focusing on the Psychology of the Customer Service and the Effective Staff Management. The seminars were introduced in collaborative partnerships with the Bulgarian Human Resources Management and Development Association – BHRMDA and leading Business Training Center ’Arthur Adams’.

With the support of the Bulgarian Gaming Association (BTAMOGI) BEGE and EEGS are looking forward to be the place calling together the gaming and entertainment industry to present the latest achievements not only in the Eastern Europe and South Eastern region, but also from all over the world.
